Truth Tour Campaign & Projects

I was the personal Designer for International celebrity – Usher Raymond IV, an American singer, songwriter, dancer and actor from 2002 – 2007. Our project started with the overall art direction and packaging design of his exclusive release of Truth Tour DVD set with Bestbuy, after the campaign, I started to work on his personal projects such as logo designs, resume deck design and his fashion brand proposal design.

TRUTH TOUR

Behind The Truth - Live From Atlanta [DVD] (2005)

Grammy-Award winning artist and international superstar Usher teamed up with Best Buy to offer his Truth Tour DVD set to fans exclusively at Best Buy through February 2006. The campaign launched the DVD's pre-ordered on September 29th 2005 at www.BestBuy.com and was available for purchase in-store and online on November 8. The packaging was designed with 3 dimensional illusion and the three-DVD set features five hours of content including live footage fromUsher's Truth Tour performance in his home town of Atlanta, with in-depth view of the life of Usher from the early years to his evolution into a living legend and savvy businessman, In addition, the DVD also gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the superstar's charitable work in the community. This DVD set was certified 7x Platinum by Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

ACHIEVEMENT DECK

After the campaign, I started to work on Usher's achievement deck design which listed out all his extraordinary achievements included but not limited to his discography sales, awards and honors had received and also the charities he has gotten involved in.

THE TRUE IDOL FASHION ARMADA

The Usher fashion line will be viral fashion apparel that the customer becomes addicted to. A customized collection and look for the discriminating fashion forward young-adult city dwelling man...  Customized young contemporary sportswear with a strong sharp look that sets young men wanting Usher’s design apart; I worked with Usher's Creative Director during that time to create the proposals and pitches for the brand(s), as well as created several logos to fine tune the overall visual essences.
